Is this a re-formulation of Beautiful Skin Superfluid SPF50?
Beautiful Skin Superfluid is the next evolution of the beloved Formulation. It has evolved in Formulation, blurring imperfections for a perfected skin finish, while bestowing a hypernatural glow. It has also evolved in design—now presented in a glossy black upright tottle.
Is Beautiful Skin Superfluid suitable for all skin types?
Yes, Beautiful Skin Superfluid SPF30 is suitable for all skin types, conditions and concerns. Especially for those looking to even-out skin tone without using foundation.
Why the change from SPF50 to SPF30?
As part of the evolution of our Superfluids, we have moved away from all chemical UV filters. This means that Beautiful Skin Superfluid SPF30 features only mineral UV filters in addition to its hydrating, soothing properties. As this Formulation isn’t designed to be used as a primary SPF, we wanted to keep the texture thin, fluid, and incredibly beautiful to apply to the skin.
Does Beautiful Skin Superfluid deliver Zinc Fusion Technology?
This Formulation is inspired by the ground-breaking Zinc Fusion Technology that informed #3 The Brilliance Tinted Serum SPF50+. “The combination of Zinc, Melanin, and Iron Oxides reflect light and amplify natural luminosity within the skin, while protecting from solar damage,” says Katie Matten, Global Head of Education.
How does Beautiful Skin Superfluid differ from #3 The Brilliance Tinted Serum SPF50+?
#3 The Brilliance Tinted Serum SPF50+ should be used as your base SPF Formulation to provide solar and environmental protection. Beautiful Skin Superfluid is for skin perfection and was created to layer on top of #3 The Brilliance Tinted Serum SPF50+, to even out skin tone and amplify skin luminosity.
I previously used Beautiful Skin Superfluid SPF50. How do I find my tint in the new Formulation?
The previous Beautiful Skin Superfluid SPF50 was offered in three tints (C1, C2, and C3). The new Beautiful Skin Superfluid now offered in six universal skin tints, reflecting the amount of melanin genetically present in human skin. As such, the tints differ but as a general guide:
C1 is likely to be M1 or M2.
C2 is likely to be M2 or M3.
C3 is likely to be M4, M5 or M6.
However, the nuances of the new Formulation better reflect our six Melanotypes and The Fitzpatrick Scale. So, for a more accurate recommendation, we suggest taking our Tint Finder.
Does this formulation replace other SPF in my routine?
Beautiful Skin is designed to visibly even out skin tone and impart a radiant glow while offering SPF30. As an alternative to heavier makeup products, we always recommend layering this over a dedicated SPF formulation for solar and environmental protection
